what is grace

In our days God's GRACE is being revealed and understood more and more, but still for many the teaching to help them grow is missing. „Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”

2 Peter 3:18

What is Grace?

Many people are still confused about what GRACE is, and what it is not. Here are some examples in the context of what it is:

  • God's word that became flesh (John 1:14), full of GRACE and truth and crowned with Glory. That's the first declaration about what Jesus is. John 1:17 says that by Him (Jesus) GRACE and truth become available and represented to us as the only source.

  • GRACE by definition is the undeserved favor of God, His goodness and empowerment in our life to accomplish His assignment and live a fruitful Godly life.

  • GRACE has absolutely nothing to do with ungodliness or a license to sin. (Romans 6:15 / Titus 2:11)

God’s GRACE is needed in every single moment of our life, starting from the moment of salvation (Ephesians 2:8). Growing in faith is growing in GRACE is growing in Jesus himself. 2 Timothy 2:1: „You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.“ The apostle James writes in his letter (Chapter 4:6): „But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Being proud means that instead of freely receiving from the finished work of the cross you are still working for God’s love and acceptance. This is called self-righteousness and means putting your hope into the flesh. It is the very dangerous moment that leads you back to your cursed condition and into falling from GRACE (Galatians 3:10-13 and 5:4).

The Bible is very clear in this matter:

  • „Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the GRACE to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.“ (1 Peter 1:13)

  • „According to the GRACE of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. (1 Corinthians 3:10)

  • „See to it that no one falls short of the GRACE of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.“ (Hebrew 12:15)

Living in a glorious way

We all have been given the necessary things for a life lived through Christ‘s Grace in a glorious way in obedience to His word, because His word gives us freedom in fullness and divine victory. In Him we have a constant source of Grace. There are no more boundaries in the mysteries of holiness. Prosperity comes instantly in the context of our real needs. Can you see it? Now that we have a realistic view of Grace, we no longer are hindered of living in the full freedom of God in the full sense of piety. God's word brings the confirmation: „His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.“ (2 Peter 1:3)

What good is knowledge?

It is a crucial moment for Christians because the knowledge of the Word of God in fullness brings victory over every dark thought and over every evil motive. And it brings awareness for the right source for every new step in our lives. This knowledge and revelation of the Word does not allow the source of Grace to be misdirected. On the contrary, it directs us in the right direction in line to bring an incredible, victorious momentum into our lives. Now knowledge and revelation becomes our companion and our decisions become reality at the right moments.

Why is prosperity achieved immediately?

When it comes to the topic of prosperity, people immediately think of finances, but there is much more to it than that. Prosperity becomes a reality for us the moment we become aware of the things we explained earlier: Life in godliness through the knowledge of Him and His word. When we have a clear picture prosperity comes into our spiritual system, which is later realized on earth, because the spiritual is always realized. Prosperity in decisions, prosperity in thoughts, prosperity in the way things are seen, there is a desire to help others at the right moment. So all this becomes our lifestyle, and this lifestyle makes up our godly life in the fullness of prosperity.
